Mobile gaming often lacks robust mech action. Mechwarrior holds a special place in many gamers' hearts, but single-player mech simulators on mobile have been scarce. Developed by Anchorite Games (creators of the well-received space battle simulator Interloper), Exoloper promises intense action. Launching February 10th, it's worth checking out to see if it meets the high standards set by their previous work.
A Verdict on Exoloper
Mech combat games are a niche genre. While Mechwarrior dominated in the late 90s and early 2000s, only Mechwarrior 5 and Clans have truly followed suit (despite some controversy). Therefore, an iOS spiritual successor is a welcome surprise. While not as deeply simulated as Mechwarrior, Exoloper offers impressive immersion.
