Dwarfs in Exile: A New Text-Based Management Game on Android
A fresh text-based multiplayer management game, Dwarfs in Exile, has arrived on Android. Developed by an independent studio, this title, previously a browser game, is now exclusively available on the Google Play Store.
The Premise:
Players take on the role of a dwarf banished to forbidden lands by the Dwarfen King. The challenge? Keeping a community of disgruntled dwarves alive and building a prosperous settlement in a hazardous environment.
Gameplay Mechanics:
Players manage a complete dwarven settlement and its inhabitants. Tasks include assigning work, gathering resources, crafting tools, and upgrading the settlement to accommodate more residents. A key strategy is to avoid overpopulation, as this prevents new dwarves from joining, even after successful quests.
Each dwarf possesses unique stats (perception, strength, etc.) influencing their job performance. Strategic equipment allocation based on these stats is crucial for maximizing productivity. The game features a diverse range of occupations, from mining to crafting. Child dwarves can be assigned mentors for accelerated skill development, though they don't begin working until age 20.
Acquiring More Dwarves:
Quests offer one method of recruitment, while another is hiring with in-game currency. Maintaining sufficient food supplies is vital to prevent starvation. A convenient feature is that deceased dwarves return their equipment to the player's inventory.
Dwarfs in Exile offers a rich and engaging management experience. For those interested, it's readily available on the Google Play Store. Stay tuned for our upcoming coverage of Together We Live, a visual novel exploring humanity's flaws.
