Discover the Secret: Unlocking the Exclusive Cavalier Rifle in Stalker 2

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl boasts a diverse arsenal, allowing players to tailor their loadout to their preferred combat style. Beyond standard firearms, unique weapon variants with enhanced stats and modifications exist, and the Cavalier sniper rifle is a prime example. This unique weapon features a red-dot sight instead of a traditional scope, making it exceptionally effective at close to medium ranges. Here's how to acquire this powerful weapon.

Acquiring the Cavalier Sniper Rifle

The Cavalier Sniper Rifle is located near the Military Unit within the Duga base in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It's hidden inside a warehouse connected to a greenhouse. If you've previously retrieved the Journalist stash in the Duga base, accessing this area should be straightforward via the secondary entrance.

Accessing the Warehouse

Upon entering the Duga base, navigate towards the Military Unit building (as indicated on your map). Circumvent the building to reach the greenhouse at its rear. Be wary; two Pseudogiants patrol this area and will attack on sight. Approach the greenhouse cautiously to avoid confrontation.

Proceed through the greenhouse into the warehouse. Expect a significant rat infestation upon entry; these rodents will inflict damage. Utilize the elevated green platforms at the warehouse's rear to avoid the rats, or eliminate them with a grenade.

Retrieving the Cavalier

After clearing the rats, examine the warehouse ceiling above the greenhouse entrance. You'll notice yellow-painted wooden boards. Shoot these boards with your weapon to dislodge the Cavalier sniper rifle.

Once you have the Cavalier, exit the Duga base. You can then have it upgraded by Screw, the technician at Rostok base. Its high damage and accuracy are further enhanced through upgrades and modifications. For players who prefer red-dot sights over scopes on their sniper rifles, the Cavalier offers a compelling alternative, excelling in close to medium-range engagements.
