Deadlock's February Update: Minor Tweaks, Major Impacts
Valve continues its steady stream of Deadlock updates, this time focusing on targeted adjustments to four heroes and select items. The changes, while seemingly small, significantly impact gameplay.
Calico suffered substantial nerfs. Her Return to Shadows ability received a ten-second cooldown increase, and 20% of its speed boost was shifted to Tier 2. Additionally, the damage output of her Tier 2 Leaping Slash was reduced.
Sinclair received a visual overhaul with updated sounds and animations. More notably, his Rabbit Hex ability has been transformed into an area-of-effect (AoE) attack. Holliday and Wraith also experienced nerfs, though the specifics weren't detailed.
Item adjustments included a reduction in the number of stacks provided by Ammo Scavenger, eliminating its health bonus. Furthermore, Extra Stamina and Restorative Shot no longer offer bonuses to fire rate and weapon damage, respectively.
