Dead Cells' final content drops: Clean Cut and The End is Near are here!

Motion Twin and Evil Empire's Dead Cells, a game lauded for its consistent updates, concludes its free content updates with the release of "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near." These final updates deliver a substantial amount of new content, defying the criticism the developers faced when ending free updates after five years of continuous support.

This significant send-off includes four brand-new weapons—standouts being the giant Sewing Scissors and the Misericorde—along with exciting additions like Speedrun and Boss Rush DIY modes. Players can also look forward to 40 new heads, multiple enemy types, and an NPC allowing for on-the-fly head customization. While future development shifts to quality-of-life improvements, this final content injection ensures players will be engaged for a considerable time.

The extensive free content (and paid expansions) provided over five years is a testament to the developers' commitment. Future updates will focus on bug fixes and quality-of-life features, maintaining the game's relevance for years to come.
