Dark and Darker Mobile is gearing up for its Canadian soft launch on February 5th, followed by a global release in the first half of 2024. Pre-registration remains open, and significant updates are planned before the worldwide launch.
Krafton's mobile adaptation of Ironmace's popular dungeon crawler blends extraction shooter and dungeon crawling elements. Players, solo or in parties, navigate a vast dungeon, battling monsters and rival players to secure valuable loot. The game features a diverse cast of characters reminiscent of D&D classes – fighters, rogues, barbarians, wizards, bards, and more.
The original PC version of Dark and Darker was a major success, prompting Krafton to acquire the mobile adaptation rights. With the global launch imminent, several improvements are underway.
Enhanced Gameplay: Key changes include refinements to the Darkswarm system and escape mechanics, along with dungeon structural overhauls to optimize party play. Class distinctions will be sharpened through enhanced basic attacks and combat mechanics. Expect a broader selection of weapons and skills as well.
