Marvel's highly anticipated Daredevil: Born Again Disney+ series has dropped its first trailer, showcasing the triumphant return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, reprising his role from the acclaimed Netflix series.
Premiering March 4th, Daredevil: Born Again reunites a stellar cast, including Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (Punisher). The trailer offers a glimpse into their reunion, punctuated by intense and visceral action sequences. Daredevil, in peak fighting form, confronts the criminal underworld of Hell's Kitchen.
The series sets up an unlikely alliance between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk against a formidable new antagonist: the art-obsessed serial killer, Muse. The trailer briefly introduces Muse, a chilling figure masked in his signature white mask with a single bleeding eye.
A relatively recent addition to Daredevil's rogue's gallery, Muse was conceived by Charles Soule and Ron Garney, first appearing in 2016's Daredevil #11.
The trailer also provides a sneak peek at Wilson Bethel's return as Bullseye (Benjamin Poindexter), another notorious Daredevil adversary. Bethel reprises his role from the Netflix series, having previously appeared in 11 out of 13 episodes in Season 3. His portrayal of Bullseye in that season not only marked the character's introduction to the Netflix MCU but also offered a compelling and tragic backstory, adding depth previously absent since his 1976 debut in Daredevil #131. The trailer leaves viewers eager to see how his arc unfolds in this new iteration.
