Gamescom Appearance Confirmed
The creators of the celebrated action RPG, CrossCode, have officially lifted the veil on their next project: Alabaster Dawn. Formerly known as "Project Terra," this exciting title was recently revealed on the developer's website. Alabaster Dawn is targeting a Steam Early Access release in late 2025. While a precise date remains unannounced, you can wishlist the game on Steam now.
A public demo is also planned for the future, preceding the late 2025 Early Access launch.
For Gamescom attendees, Radical Fish Games will be showcasing Alabaster Dawn, offering a limited number of hands-on opportunities. Even if you miss the gameplay, the studio invites everyone for a chat at their booth from Wednesday to Friday.
Alabaster Dawn's Combat: A Fusion of DMC, KH, and CrossCode
Alabaster Dawn plunges players into the ravaged world of Tiran Sol, left desolate by the goddess Nyx, who banished the other gods and humanity. As Juno, the Outcast Chosen, you'll embark on a quest to awaken the remnants of humanity and break Nyx's curse.
Expect an immersive experience with an estimated 30-60 hours of gameplay across seven diverse regions. Rebuild settlements, forge trade routes, and engage in exhilarating combat inspired by Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, and the studio's own CrossCode. Master eight unique weapons, each with its own skill tree, and utilize parkour, puzzles, enchantments, and even cooking to overcome challenges.
The developers proudly announced that the first 1-2 hours of gameplay are nearing completion, a significant milestone in their development journey.
