Crashlands 2 has just unleashed a significant update, version 1.1, courtesy of Butterscotch Shenanigans. This patch brings a host of features that fans of the original Crashlands have been eagerly anticipating, addressing their requests and enhancing the gaming experience.
What's in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
The much-anticipated Legend Mode has been introduced, offering a higher difficulty level than the existing Challenge Mode. Enemies on Woanope are now faster, deal more damage, and have increased health, while Flux Dabes has become even more fragile. Completing Legend Mode doesn't unlock new achievements, but you'll automatically gain all the achievements from lower difficulty levels as a reward.
For players who prefer a more relaxed experience, Explorer Mode has been added. This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, allowing you to focus on farming mushrooms, building a cozy home, and fishing. It's the perfect setting to immerse yourself in the story, decorate your base, and interact with the quirky characters of Crashlands 2.
A major highlight of Update 1.1 is the return of The Compendium. Responding to player feedback, the developers have reintroduced this feature, which meticulously tracks all of Flux's discoveries, including pets, recipes, and items needed to achieve your goals.
Pets also got a bit of an upgrade
Pets in Crashlands 2 have received a significant upgrade with Update 1.1. They now actively participate in battles and come equipped with unique abilities that can be activated every 20 seconds. Additionally, gear crafting has been expanded, with random bonus stats now available on armor. The update also introduces a variety of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets, enhancing the crafting system.
Quality of life improvements are peppered throughout Update 1.1. Players can now construct buildings on a wider range of terrains, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the night-time darkness settings for a more personalized experience.
You can download Crashlands 2 from the Google Play Store. Note that the game was launched on April 10th, and this update demonstrates the developers' commitment to responding to player feedback.
