Then, continue your adventure until you encounter and defeat your first Tempered monster. You'll recognize this formidable foe by the comments from NPCs about its toughness and numerous scars.

After vanquishing this beast, Gemma will approach you to discuss Artian weapons, triggering a tutorial that explains the crafting process. Each weapon type requires three components, and you must have at least one of each to craft a weapon. However, the customization goes much deeper.

Each component comes with a rarity value, an element type, and an Artian bonus. Components must have the same rarity value to be compatible. The elemental effect of your weapon is determined by the element most represented among your components. For example, using two water and one lightning component will result in a water-based weapon.
