Once in your room, select the "Create Gems" option, the second from the top, to begin crafting. The process operates on a one-to-one ratio, meaning you can use as many Pyroxene as you have to craft gems. There are five distinct gems you can create, and each Pyroxene has an equal chance of crafting any of these gems.

Upon crafting a new gem, it starts at level 1 and can be equipped via the Battle Preparations menu. Subsequent crafts of the same gem type will contribute XP to the base gem, thereby leveling it up and enhancing its effectiveness with each level gained. If you're not particular about specific gems, it's beneficial to use all your Pyroxene at once to craft multiple gems, thereby randomly upgrading them across the board.

For those seeking specific gems, there's a feature called "Eyes of the Sacred Bird" that might activate with every single gem crafted. This feature temporarily limits the variety of gems that can be crafted to three randomly selected types. You can cancel this effect by exiting and re-entering the gem crafting menu.
