TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of the monster-collecting game Coromon by developer TRAGsoft (after its PC and Switch debut), we're getting a roguelite offshoot: Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free). Launching next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android, Coromon: Rogue Planet combines the turn-based combat of its predecessor with roguelite elements for endless replayability. The Steam page boasts 10 ever-changing biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:
The original Coromon is a free-to-play mobile title. I'm eager to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet translates to mobile and whether its release will coincide with the Switch and Steam versions. You can wishlist Coromon: Rogue Planet on Steam now. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds more engaging. Based on the Steam screenshots, it seems perfectly suited for short bursts of play. Until its release, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS. What are your thoughts on Coromon: Rogue Planet so far, and have you played the original Coromon?
