Uncover Master Schindel's Missing Possessions in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
This guide helps you complete the challenging "Master Schindel's Toys" side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This quest becomes available during the main story mission, "Into the Underworld."
The quest begins after interacting with Goatskin, an informant found during the "Into the Underworld" mission. To locate Goatskin, speak to the Bathhouse Madam and then Adam at the bathhouse. Adam will reveal Goatskin's involvement in the theft.
Finding Goatskin requires some sleuthing. Follow Udo, a bathhouse patron who appears in the evenings. Udo will be robbed by Goatskin in a nearby alley, allowing you to confront him.
From Goatskin, you can acquire a map (either through a skill check or a bribe) showing the Kuttenberg Underground. The map pinpoints the location of the stolen items.
Locating the Stolen Goods: A Step-by-Step Guide
To efficiently retrieve the stolen items:
- Locate the northern entrance to the Kuttenberg Underground (shown in the image above).
- Descend the ladder into the dark underground area. Bring a torch!
- Follow a path predominantly turning left at intersections.
- You'll encounter a drop-down point; proceed carefully.
- At a dead end, you'll find a barrel containing the stolen book and astrolabe.
- Retrace your steps to the surface.
Return the items to Master Schindel (usually found northeast of the city during the day) to complete the quest. He'll reward you and provide some interesting information about the astrolabe.
Completing "Master Schindel's Toys" earns you reputation points and rewards.
