Call of Dragons War League Event Guide

By MichaelNov 14,2025

The Roots of War League in Call of Dragons stands as one of the most competitive and rewarding events, featuring strategic 30v30 warfare between alliances. Unlike casual battles or shorter seasonal events, this requires meticulous coordination, planning, and consistent participation from all alliance members. This guide explores the event's structure, the alliance's role, the necessity of preparation, and strategies for boosting your alliance's score. Let's start with the basics.

What is the Roots of War event in Call of Dragons?

The Roots of War League is a season-long competition introduced with the February major update. In this league, alliances compete for dominance over territory and resources. It progresses through multiple stages: preparation, active warfare, and a final ranking determined by territory control and accumulated points.

What are Lifestones in Roots of War?

When a Lifestone first appears, you have 15 minutes to transport it to its destination. After 15 minutes, the Lifestone vanishes. A new one spawns on a random Lifestone Pedestal one minute later. If you deliver the Lifestone to a Lunambrite Pool, it will be dropped and other players can pick it up. Depositing it in a Safe Zone causes the Lifestone to respawn at its original pedestal shortly after but yields no points for your team.

Deliver the Lifestone to one of your team's buildings or a neutral structure to earn substantial points. Each successful delivery increases the point value for the next one by both sides.
