C-Tier:

Underperforming in Season 7
Sorcerer & Spiritborn

While the Sorcerer reigned supreme in previous seasons, Season 7 sees it significantly weakened. Its defensive capabilities remain, but damage output is lacking, particularly against bosses. Leveling is still efficient, but higher-level content proves challenging. The Spiritborn, Diablo 4's newest class, is still largely unoptimized, suffering from inconsistent damage output. While its survivability shines, its overall effectiveness needs refinement.

B-Tier:

Solid Choices for Season 7
Barbarian & Rogue

The Barbarian retains its strength, offering a balance of tankiness and mobility. Its frontline capabilities are unmatched, but build optimization is key to maximizing its potential. New and returning players will find it relatively straightforward to master. The Rogue provides a versatile alternative, excelling in both ranged and melee combat. Its adaptability caters to various playstyles.

A-Tier:

High Potential with Gear Dependency
Druid

The Druid's performance hinges heavily on acquiring specific gear. Once properly equipped, however, it becomes a powerhouse, boasting exceptional damage and survivability.

S-Tier:

Top-Tier Performance in Season 7
Necromancer

The Necromancer continues its reign of dominance. Its versatility allows for creative builds focusing on health regeneration, summoning, and devastating damage. While mastering it requires experimentation, its ultimate power is undeniable.

This tier list offers a general overview. Individual build choices and player skill significantly impact class performance. For further resources, explore Forgotten Altar locations within the Season of Witchcraft.
