Electronic Arts recently hosted a livestream event to commemorate the 25th anniversary of The Sims franchise. The event showcased the exciting free gifts and in-game events planned for The Sims 4 players.
The festivities have already commenced with a new update. This update addresses various bugs, boasts a refreshed main menu, and offers improved game optimization. Several classic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs have also received a makeover. These updated homes are available immediately for new games, and existing saves can access them via the game's library.

The main anniversary celebration begins February 4th. A significant update will introduce over 70 free items! Simultaneously, a new in-game event, "Blast from the Past," will launch. Players can earn retro-themed items and a complete collectible set by completing simple challenges.
Furthermore, a new season called "Motherlode" will debut on February 6th. Specific details about this season's content are yet to be revealed.
