The highly anticipated Lunar Remastered Collection is set to launch on April 18th, bringing the classic JRPG duology to modern platforms. Developed by Game Arts and published by GungHo Online Entertainment, this collection will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S compatibility).
This release includes fully voiced dialogue in English and Japanese, plus French and German subtitles. Players can enjoy updated graphics, a re-recorded soundtrack, and several quality-of-life improvements. These enhancements include faster combat, an auto-battle feature, and a classic mode for those seeking a retro experience mirroring the original PS1-era visuals. Widescreen support and high-definition cutscenes are also included.
Physical copies will be available in select North American and European stores. The collection's release continues the trend of beloved JRPGs receiving modern remasters, following the success of the Grandia HD Collection, also a collaboration between Game Arts and GungHo Online Entertainment.
