Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is expanding its Zombies mode with a brand new map, marking the fifth addition to the game's lineup. A tantalizing sneak peek was shared via the official Call of Duty X (Twitter) account and Treyarch Studio’s X (Twitter) on March 12, 2025. The image showcases a grand mansion, its walls scarred and surrounded by the chaos of flaming army car wreckage, dark smoke, and internal fires.
The teaser is captioned with "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" and tagged with "#Zombies." Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, a beloved character from the series, who played a significant role in Call of Duty: Cold War, is set to return. Given that Black Ops 6 is a remake of Cold War, Eddie's presence is a welcomed continuity.
Observant fans have identified the map as the Mansion from Liberty Falls, dated February 1991 in the teaser. This timeline seamlessly connects with the narrative from the previous Black Ops 6 Zombies map, The Tomb, suggesting a continuation of the storyline.
An exciting twist for this map is the absence of Amalgam enemies, as confirmed by Treyarch on their Instagram account. In response to a fan's comment about facing "20 amalgams on this map too," the developers firmly stated "Nope." Amalgams, known for their high HP and powerful attacks, being removed should provide players with a smoother gameplay experience in this setting.
