Just one month after its release, including its availability on Game Pass, Obsidian and Xbox Game Studios have unveiled an exciting new trailer celebrating their action-RPG, Avowed. This captivating video features a compilation of glowing reviews and standout quotes from gaming journalists, showcasing the overwhelmingly positive reception that Avowed has received.

The latest update for Avowed introduces support for DLSS 4, which includes cutting-edge technologies like Multi Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and DLAA. These advancements significantly enhance the game's performance, with NVIDIA demonstrating up to a threefold increase in frame rates at maximum 4K settings, achieving an impressive 340 FPS. Additionally, the developers have hinted at upcoming announcements about the game’s future support and roadmap in the coming weeks, keeping fans eagerly anticipating what's next.

This update isn't solely focused on technical enhancements; it also significantly improves the player experience. Gamers will now earn an additional talent point every five levels, and players who have already made progress will automatically receive their points upon loading the game. For those using a keyboard and mouse, a new feature allows toggling between walking and running, enhancing control and immersion. Furthermore, a new accessibility option has been added, which increases font sizes in documents, guides, and other in-game text, making the game more accessible to a wider audience.

While Avowed didn't leave critics entirely speechless, it has still managed to garner strong reviews across the board. Digital Foundry hailed the game as a technical "triumph," cementing its status as a standout title from Obsidian. With these updates and the continued support from the developers, Avowed is set to remain a favorite among action-RPG enthusiasts.
