- Introducing the new Friends of Fauna community feature
- Players can submit photos of their favorite animals
- Monthly selection transforms one photo into an in-game puzzle
Since its February launch, The Art of Fauna has established itself as one of mobile gaming's most elegant and contemplative puzzle experiences. The latest update brings a special community initiative - the completely free Friends of Fauna program.
How the Program Works
Each month, players can submit animal photographs - anything from wild creatures to service animals or cherished pets. The development team selects one image to be reimagined as that month's featured puzzle. The inaugural selection showcases a Spectacled Bear photo submitted by community member Denis B.
The update also introduces personalized app icons honoring dedicated players: Valentin's Snow Leopard, Vidit and Benedict's Lion, Shiven's Orca, and Thomas's Northern Gannet.
A Unique Puzzling Experience
For newcomers, The Art of Fauna offers a peaceful puzzling experience blending classic wildlife illustrations with innovative gameplay. Players can solve puzzles either visually or by reconstructing descriptive texts, learning fascinating animal facts throughout their journey.

Every in-game illustration originates from 18th- and 19th-century scientific works by renowned naturalists like John James Audubon and John Gould, celebrating both artistic beauty and natural history. The game also supports real-world conservation - a portion of all proceeds benefits global wildlife protection efforts.
Submit your animal photos for Friends of Fauna consideration through the in-game portal. The first 10 levels are free, with the full experience available via in-app purchase. Visit the official website for complete details.
