Albion Online has officially announced the release date for its upcoming major expansion, Abyssal Depths. Launching on Android June 30th, this update plunges players into subterranean adventures featuring intense PvP combat and fearsome new mounts.
What's Coming in the Update?
The centerpiece of the expansion is the Depths - a new extraction-style dungeon designed for 2-3 players. These compact battle zones offer high-risk PvP encounters with a safety net: the innovative Orange PvP rules protect your equipped gear, meaning you'll only lose carried items upon defeat.
This game-changing mechanic makes PvP more accessible, removing fears of devastating gear loss. Once inside, you'll battle demonic foes and rival players while collecting Souls to gain advantages. The climax features a frantic vault battle as the dungeon collapses.
The Depths connect to a new hub called the Antiquarian's Den, which also provides access to Corrupted Dungeons and Hellgates. Accessible from all Royal Cities and Caerleon, this underground base offers quicker matchmaking and convenient banking facilities.
The Den introduces a mysterious Antiquarian who tracks your progress. Your Antiquarian Standing increases through battles in the Depths and other infernal zones.
Rewards include demonic-themed avatar customizations and a selection of Demon Cape crests spanning Tiers 4-8. Players can also obtain two exclusive spider mounts: the Hellspinner and Soulspinner.
Prepare for the Abyssal Depths
The update introduces two formidable Crystal Weapons: the Truebolt Hammer electrifies enemies while shielding allies, and the Stillgaze Staff enables transformation into a Crystal Cobra for shapeshifters.
