Quickfire Rules

• Dealing and Bidding: Cards are dealt evenly among four players. Each player bids high (black card) or low (red card). Bids are revealed starting left of the dealer. The first black card 'grandes' the round as high; if all cards are red, the round is played low.
• Playing Tricks: In a high bid round, the player to the right of the 'grander' leads first; in a low bid round, the player to the left of the dealer leads. Players follow suit if possible, or play any card. The highest card in the led suit wins the trick.
• Scoring: In high bids, the granding team scores a point for each trick over 6; failing to reach 7 tricks awards the opposing team points based on the 'set bonus'. In low bids, teams score a point for each trick under 7.
