Malé Reading System

Phonetic practice in Spanish

Learning to read is the foundation for the educational future of girls and boys. However, it can be a great challenge to maintain the interest and focus of our children during mechanical and repetitive tasks such as learning and practicing reading.

Aimed at supporting children during their early stages of learning to read in Spanish, we created MaLé Sistema de Lectura—a virtual tutor that will accompany your child on an adventure to practice and reinforce the mechanics of reading in Spanish.

Throughout this process, phonological awareness is developed through combinations in syllables, words, and sentences. With interactive dialogue based on principles of positive psychology and emotional intelligence, the MaLé Reading System guides girls and boys to enjoy their reading journey through play, transforming learning into a fun, positive, and enjoyable challenge.

The MaLé Reading System is designed for school-aged children from Kindergarten up to third grade, or from age 4 onwards.

The Bad Reading System features:

- A structured, organized approach based on the syllabic system, helping maintain balance with regular schooling.

- Interactive, attractive, and positive elements that keep children interested and enthusiastic.

  • Vocabulary development

- Gradual difficulty levels to reinforce self-esteem and a love for reading in children.

- A systematic structure using the Kaizen methodology: "Small and constant improvements."

- Day 1: Syllable Practice

- Day 2: Word Practice

- Day 3: Sentence Practice (Note: Original said "Prayer", likely meant "Sentence" or similar contextually, but keeping close to original intent if ambiguous. Let's stick closer to literal "Practice Words/Sentences". The prompt says "Prayer Practice" which is odd for reading. Could be typo for "Phrase"? I will keep it as "Phrase Practice" or just "Practice Phrases" to make sense in context, or leave as "Prayer" if strict. Let's assume typo for Phrase/Paragraph. Actually, looking at Day 1 Syllables, Day 2 Words, Day 3 is likely Sentences or Paragraphs. I will use "Phrase Practice" as a safe bet for reading progression, or stick to literal "Prayer Practice" if it refers to religious text? Unlikely. Let's go with "Sentence Practice" as it fits the flow best, but original says Prayer. Let's write "Practice Phrases/Sentences". I'll use "Phrase Practice" to be safe and natural.) -> Correction: Original is "Prayer Practice". In many Spanish contexts, "Oración" means Sentence. So "Prayer" is a mistranslation of "Sentence". I will correct it to "Sentence Practice" for better SEO/Natural English.

- Each game day consists of 3 stages: explanation, practice, and self-evaluation.

- Recommended across three developmental or maturity stages of the child:

- Stage 1: Decoding (Pre-school - Grade 1)

- Stage 2: Agility (Grade 1 - Grade 2)

- Stage 3: Writing (Grade 2 - Grade 3)
