In addition to playing with shogi pieces, this application allows you to enjoy "Hasami Shogi (Japanese Chess Scissors)," as well as "Prisoner's Base Shogi" and "Surrounding Shogi."

Hasami Shogi Rules
The players are divided into infantry and gold. The objective is to sandwich an opponent's piece.
You win by capturing three pieces.
Note that due to the nature of Hasami Shogi, a game may or may not end in a draw (though we have devised mechanics to make luck play a role).
Prisoner's Base Shogi Rules
The players are divided into infantry and gold. Each player controls their own 3x3 territory; the first to move all of their infantry across to the opponent's side wins.
You can jump over (Tobikose) your opponent's pieces.
Surrounding Shogi Rules
The players are divided into infantry and gold. Like Hasami Shogi, you capture an opponent's piece by sandwiching it. Additionally, you can place a piece in your own territory to surround a square within your frame.
If you capture the surrounding frame of six pieces and secure three territories, you win.
All rules feature CPU opponents with three difficulty levels. PvP mode is also available.
