Similar to Western Chess, your goal is to capture your opponent's King. You command seven types of pieces, each with unique movement rules. The board features diagonal and horizontal lines, with pieces moving along these lines and stopping at intersections. The central blank area symbolizes the Yellow River, historically dividing northern and southern China. In Xiangqi, the major pieces enter the fray more quickly, leading to faster-paced and more dynamic gameplay.
