Unlike traditional remote controls, the Carplounge Autopilot revolutionizes your fishing experience by utilizing an Android tablet or smartphone. The app is freely available on the Google Play Store and compatible with any Android device equipped with Bluetooth functionality. Simply connect your tablet to the boat via a transmitter box, and you're ready to navigate your bait boat with the ease of a touchscreen.

In manual mode, control the boat as you would a standard bait boat, with the added advantage of real-time tracking. The app displays the boat's position, route, and orientation through a compass function on a dynamic map. Discover promising fishing spots using the integrated echo sounder and save their locations with custom names such as "jetty left", "spot 1", or "home" via the built-in GPS.

Switch to autopilot mode to unlock the full potential of the Carplounge Autopilot. Here, you can program a series of waypoints into a route and assign specific actions to each stop, such as opening the left or right hatch, releasing bait, or activating lights. For example, you might set the following sequence: 1.) Navigate to "Sandbank" and open the right hatch upon arrival, 2.) Proceed to "Spot 2" and open the left hatch, 3.) Return to the starting point and signal with a blink. Once programmed, the boat will autonomously follow this route, allowing you to focus on other aspects of your fishing experience. The system can store an almost infinite number of spots and routes, ensuring precise navigation with cutting-edge GPS, compass, and sensor technology, achieving 90% accuracy within 30cm.

The Carplounge Autopilot also intelligently manages line tension during movement, especially when deploying multiple rods to different locations. The boat's electronics detect line tension and automatically adjust the course to maintain a direct path to the target, minimizing unnecessary turns and line bends.

While the autopilot serves as a standalone replacement for traditional remote controls, we offer the flexibility to connect a physical remote if preferred. The app is optimized for 10-inch Android tablets with Bluetooth, allowing for direct touchscreen control of your bait boat.
