How to Play 101 Okey Vip Offline Game

101 Okey Vip is played over multiple rounds with four players, aiming to finish with the lowest possible score. The player with the least points at the end of all rounds emerges as the winner. Points are calculated based on the numbers on the remaining tiles—for instance, a red 3 equals three points, while a black 11 equals 11 points. The game concludes either when there are no more tiles to draw or when a player completes their hand.

Getting Started with the Game:

Once a dealer is chosen, they distribute 21 stones to each player, giving 22 stones to the player on their right. The remaining stones stay face down on the table, with one stone turned face up to determine the joker (OKEY piece). The game proceeds counterclockwise, starting with the player to the right of the dealer, who has 22 stones. This player begins by discarding a stone without drawing one. Play then moves to the next player, who can either draw a tile from the deck or pick up the last discarded tile. If a player's hand totals 101 points after drawing, they can open their hand by laying out their arranged series. When opening, they place their series next to other series on the table. If unable to open, the player discards a stone to end their turn. Every player must discard a stone to complete their turn, even if they've opened their entire hand.

Joker (Okey Stone or Riziko):

The joker, or Okey stone, varies with each game. Two fake joker tiles represent the number one higher than the face-up tile. These jokers have a unique appearance compared to other tiles. For instance, if the indicator tile is a blue 5, the real jokers are the two blue 6s in play, and the fake jokers are valued as blue 6.

Deals and Showing Hands:

To open a hand, you need at least 101 points and must form sets of three or four tiles of different colors with the same numbers (e.g., black 5, red 5, blue 5) or a sequence of the same color (e.g., red 7, 8, 9), with a minimum of three tiles per set. You can open your hand and add to existing sets in the same game. If you pick up a discarded tile, you must use it immediately. If you haven't opened your hand yet and pick up a discarded tile, you must open your hand using that tile. If the tile can't be used to create a set or open a hand, it's returned to its place, and you draw a tile from the deck without penalty.

Doubles:

You can also open your hand by collecting at least five pairs of tiles. A pair consists of two identical stones. Once you open a game with doubles, you can't open a normal set in the same game, but you can add tiles to sets opened by other players on the table.
